Roxy ..

Roxy was kind enough to come by and let me utilize her as a subject, allowing me to test two new lenses for my canon 7D.  I must say, I enjoyed Roxy's pleasant disposition while playing around with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8, along with the EF 100mm f/2 USM.  I'm not sure which lens I liked more for the session...  I was surprised at the shots I managed with the 50mm, however, overall, I think the 100mm achieved more stunning results. I utilized several banks of LED white lighting for the session, and have gained a whole new respect of photographers who shoot actor's headshots.

Admittedly, I picked up some pointers due to Roxy volunteering for this photographic adventure, and I've certainly learned what I'm not going to change for the next session (and, of course, what I am going to change) - by the way, this photo is completely untouched.  Sans Photoshop!  I would add Roxy is as charming as the photo I've posted would indicate.  She is a talented actress in the Los Angeles area, which, of course means.., she is able and ready for hire (roxyshabestari@gmail.com).  As for me, I can chalk the session up as another successful endeavor in the art of being a curious human (always learning).   Thanks for your indulgence.
