So I got to work on Kevin William's short subject film titled "Beautifully. Love. Dark." The script is very poetic and lovely. Kevin and crew certainly vested into the piece, as did the cast. I expect it will evolve into a full length feature project. I have a very brief appearance as Mr. Milani. In the story, from her death bed, my lovely daughter sets love and life right with her new found amour, Young Kevin (well, in this case it's actually a death gurney, while on her way to the hospital after a tragic auto wreck).
NOTE TO SELF: John, in the future, please remind yourself that the, so-called, "smaller roles" often times, are more difficult to facilitate than are the, so-called, "larger" ones. Especially at 8hrs plus on set. Between the catered lunch, craft services, the primping - via a charming make-up person - the clever banter with fellow cast members, meanwhile, mumbling your 2 pages of dialogue one-too-many times while fully utilizing caffeine to maintain awareness... (wow, that sure does make it all sound easy.)
Regardless, I enjoyed the adventure - the ride home from Corona at 8am is a whole 'nother subject - *&$!!
