A monitor shot ..

I had the fantastic opportunity to cast and work with Jason Peirce and Michael Toland on my current project.  Here's a monitor shot from a scene in the film.  These two are partnered as dark government agents set to harass and menace the world at large.  Both have more work to perform in the project, regardless, I just wanted to mention how exciting working with talented actors can be - a compelling scene, laughs on set, an entertaining evening on the streets of Burbank.

Coffee Joe is one annoying guy ..

Here's a piece of a digital film I put together ten years ago... It is a dark comedy about an annoying man who owns an internet company who pays for an infomercial. Well most everything goes wrong due to the fact that Joe can't get a cup of coffee on the set of this ill-fated production. It is a piece that I wrote, directed, shot, and edited. It is titled COFFEE JOE and stars the exceedingly talented Mr. Will Radford. Enjoy this cut from that digital film.

Horseradish Sauce

This is a short digital film about a cop who has reached his end.  I wrote, directed, and acted in this one, it is the third short film in a digital trilogy that I put together ten years ago to illustrate my abilities.  It was a fun project, and I got to work with some of the wonderful actors I met while working at the Casting Break.  Horseradish Sauce.

Welcome to Glenville

Here is the opening scene to a television pilot titled Glenville.   I co-wrote and directed this project.  Russians and Armenians fight over control of the city, an ex-cop blunders into, and, foils their blackmailing efforts, the District Attorney plans to bring charges of corruption against the Mayor...  Welcome to Glenville.  We shot several of the scenes in the story to utilize as a pitch tool for the show. This scene ends with a bang.., well, actually two bangs.

Some digital work on Tito Calloway

Here is a portion of a digital presentation I put together on brilliant hip-hop artist Tito Calloway.  This segment is a brief interview with Mr. Calloway mixed in with some relevant music industry personalities, along with others, and, it ends with a music video I shot and cut for Tito's song titled Losing Control.  Tito is a talented cat and deserves some attention from the planet.  Enjoy.

Wearing Hitler's Pants - the Uber Comedy

This video presentation is a feature length satire.  It took me a little over two years to complete (2004-2006).  I consider this project my "film school" days, since I wrote, directed, shot, and edited the movie, which, I would add is quite a bit of work...  It is a comedy that mostly lampoons the self importance of those bent on the creation of "art'.  The movie starts with a group of wanna-be Hollywood directors in a coffee shop arguing the virtues of Tim Burton's movie Planet of the Apes verses the original '68 movie of the same name.   Upon bumping heads on the subject one of these silly characters comes up with the idea of hiring a video crew to shoot a behind the scenes look at the mounting of a play about Adolph Hitler's reported love affair with Ernst Rohm...  The story follows the foolish meanderings of Matt Jackson on his awkward quest to perfect his performance of Hitler - a horror!  Driven to stupidity, Jackson loses his car. he loses his girl, he loses his sense of humor, and, perhaps, his life.  This movie is two hours in length (admittedly, that will take a very special attention span), and, it is potentially offensive (F-bombs have been bleeped, but, there is a scene where an actor - who, apparently, is a closet Nazi - badgers a director at a coffee shop).  This project was a lot of fun...  I would like to think that this movie verges on true "Art"., but., then, if I actually believed that, I would be as pompous as the characters presented in this story.  Enjoy.

Hitler's Pants Trailer (movie directed, written and edited by John Reneaud)

Wearing Hitler's Pants is a feature length satire that I wrote directed and produced ..    It ain't Doctor Strangelove, yet, Matt O'Hare and Dave Kramer (along with many others) gave me some really fine acting work on this project.
